Who Uses Long-Term Rental

Works best when you have a defined project timeline and a consistent equipment need — typically four months or more.

Construction & Civil

Consistent access to excavators, dumpers and compaction for the full duration of a site contract.

Estates & Land

Farms, country estates and large landholdings needing reliable kit on hand throughout the season.

Landscaping Contractors

Long-running projects or maintenance contracts where you need the same equipment week after week.

Longer Term.
Better Rate.

The longer your rental period, the better the rate we can offer. A four-month contract costs significantly less per week than hiring the same item daily or weekly on ad-hoc terms.

Questions

Everything you need to know about long-term rental. Anything else — just ask.

What's the minimum term for long-term rental?

There’s no hard minimum, but long-term rental rates typically apply from around 4 months upwards. Below that, our weekly or monthly hire rates will usually be your best option. Just ask and we’ll point you in the right direction.

Long-term rental is project-specific — you agree fixed equipment, a term and a rate for a defined period. Flex Hire Account is a monthly subscription giving unlimited swaps across a tier of equipment. If your projects vary a lot, Flex Hire often fits better. If you need the same kit on site for months, long-term rental wins on rate.

Yes — multi-item contracts are common. We’ll put together a single proposal covering everything with one clear monthly figure and one point of contact.

Let us know as early as possible and we’ll arrange an extension. Providing the equipment isn’t already committed elsewhere, we’ll always try to accommodate you. Extensions can be rolling monthly or fixed-period.

Yes. All routine scheduled servicing on the contracted equipment is covered. Breakdowns due to equipment faults (not misuse) are handled quickly — repair or replacement, whichever is faster.

We cover Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset. If you’re just outside these counties, get in touch anyway — depending on the contract size we may still be able to help.

Usually same day. WhatsApp us with the equipment, site and rough duration and we’ll come back with a clear proposal. Larger or more complex contracts may take a day or two.

We build reasonable early termination terms into our contracts. We’re not here to hold you to a contract if the project genuinely wraps up early. Get in touch and we’ll work it out.
